TESE-ICSI
TESE (Testicular Sperm Extraction) is a surgical sperm retrieval procedure in which a small sample of testicular tissue is obtained under anesthesia for identification and retrieval of sperm from within the testes.
TESA (Testicular Sperm Aspiration) and TESE may be considered in selected cases of azoospermia, including obstructive azoospermia resulting from blockage of the reproductive tract, previous surgery, infection, vasectomy, or congenital conditions. These procedures may also be utilized in selected situations where sperm are not present in adequate numbers within the ejaculate.
Sperm retrieved through TESA or TESE procedures may be used as part of Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) treatment protocols in assisted reproductive medicine. Depending on the clinical situation, surgically retrieved sperm may be used immediately or cryopreserved for future treatment cycles.
Cryopreservation involves preservation of sperm or biopsy material in liquid nitrogen under controlled laboratory conditions for future clinical use within assisted reproductive treatment protocols.
Krishna IVF performs surgical sperm retrieval procedures as part of individualized male infertility evaluation and assisted reproductive treatment planning.
