TESE-ICSI Procedures

TESE (Testicular Sperm Extraction) is a surgical sperm retrieval procedure in which a small sample of testicular tissue is obtained under anaesthesia for identification and retrieval of sperm from within the testes.

TESA (Testicular Sperm Aspiration) and TESE may be utilized in selected cases of azoospermia, including obstructive azoospermia caused by epididymal or ductal blockage, prior surgery, infection, vasectomy or congenital conditions. These procedures may also be considered in selected cases of severely reduced sperm production where sperm are not adequately present in the ejaculate.

Sperm retrieved through TESA or TESE procedures may be used as part of Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) treatment protocols in assisted reproductive procedures. In certain cases, surgically retrieved sperm may be used fresh or cryopreserved for future assisted reproductive treatment cycles.

TESE-ICSI Procedures

Cryopreservation involves preservation of sperm or biopsy material in liquid nitrogen under controlled laboratory conditions for future clinical use as part of assisted reproductive medicine protocols.

Krishna IVF provides facilities for surgical sperm retrieval procedures, sperm cryopreservation, and laboratory based assisted reproductive services within individualized reproductive medicine treatment protocols.
