Many people might not see the immediate connection between an IVF clinic and a photography exhibition. But in my line of work, we often search through countless images under a microscope, looking for that one perfect, viable cell that holds the promise of a new life. It is a quiet, determined quest for a single, perfect image. And so, I believe we are all here tonight in the same pursuit.
This quest for the perfect image is what unites everyone in this hall. Under the leadership of President Mr. PN Seth and General Secretary Mr. MV Srinivasa Reddy, the Waltair Photographic Society has carried this vision forward for 25 years.
It was a privilege to join their 25th Anniversary Mega Photo Exhibition on the occasion of World Photography Day. A celebration not only of technique and artistry but also of the stories and truths captured through the lens.
A highlight of the evening was honoring senior members who have dedicated their lives to this craft. Their commitment mirrors the same devotion we in medicine hold—to seek clarity, precision, and truth in our work.
As we celebrate, I look forward to the many stories this society will continue to tell in the years ahead.
