External Quality Control Certification
External quality assessment challenges the effectiveness of a laboratory’s quality management system. The term external refers to the fact that an organizer outside the laboratory’s organization provides a quality statement to the laboratory. Medical Testing Laboratory should design quality control to detect, reduce, and correct deficiencies in a laboratory’s examination process.
