Amniocentesis

Chromosomal analysis of Amniotic Fluid is done in cases of previous abnormal babies, abnormal triple screen, Lady age more than 40 years etc., Amniotic fluid is removed under ultrasound guidance trans abdominally at 18 – 20 weeks and sent for analysis.
